Others At a mid-sized patent firm, I not only worked on preparing and prosecuting electrical, IT, and mechanical patent applications, but also used my English proficiency (Grade 1 of EIKEN[Test in Practical English Proficiency]) to establish a foreign application group for the internationalization of the firm, which at the time handled only domestic work, and to educate the firm on foreign laws and regulations.

At a manufacturer of materials and equipment with the top market share in Japan, as the general manager of the IP Legal Department, I was involved in not only general IP work but also general legal work, and experienced large IP-related lawsuits and licensing work with domestic and overseas clients. During my time as head of the IP Legal Department, I supervised a cumulative total of five subordinates, two of whom became patent attorneys, so I am confident in my ability to train human resources.

I would like to make full use of my past experience and play an active role in domestic and international IP-related litigation, licensing, and training of young talents at SKIP as a full-fledged IP talent in the mechanical, electrical, IT, chemical, and materials fields.
