What documents are required to register the transfer of a patent/patent application in Japan? Also, what are the fees?

Answer:
[Requirements]
1. Name of the assignor
2. Name of the assignee
3. Name and Job Title of Representative of both assignor and assignee

Based on the above 1-3, we will prepare and send you the ready-to-sign forms of Power of Attorney(POA) and Deed of Assignment (DOA).
Original of the executed DOA is required.
It takes about 1.5 to 2 months from the submission of documents to the completion of the Assignment/transfer registration.

Case B: Recordal of Assignment/Transfer of Registered Patent

Patent: 15,000 yen per case
Trademark: 30,000 yen per case
Design: 9,000 yen per case
Utility Model: 9,000 yen per case
